Open house MT

Poster design for the annual open house of the faculty of Maritime Engineering of the Technical University in Delft, Netherlands. The concept of the poster was to show how big the maritime sector is, using the size of a ship as a metaphor. The building shown on the poster is the aula/auditorium of the university, on a 1:1 scale. The design was intended as an A2 sized print poster, but was later printed on a 2x3m canvas sheet.

At the time I did not have a lens available that could fit the whole building in the frame at once, so two photographs were combined to form the building.
